Do you not have the phrase new_profile_posts? That's a base XenForo phrase. That's supposed to be the third option.

Hi yes I've put that phrase but in.

New problems with fresh install.

I can successfully connect and test the Discord connection but "Join servers" is not showing up in the auth screen.



In turn I can't get past the "You must setup Discord in the "connected accounts" section of your admin control panel." part of the setup.

Delete the Server ID (guild) from your adminCP options and run through the setup steps again...
Also, invite the bot to your server.

I have this working again except for one thing. New profile posts get sent to Discord but profile replies (comments) do not. Is this a bug or something that can be changed?

They are not programmed to get sent to discord. Status updates only.

First off I just want to say thank you a great addon. I watched your video but did have to bounce around the thread a bit as the discord bot page is very different now than from when you made your video and I had no idea I needed to go to the OAuth2 tab for the redirects, but so far everything seems to be working well and the rest of the video was easy to follow but again there are some differences now as options are in there now that weren't when you made the video.

With this said I never got this to have a discord tab but I do see now under that tab it looks like it shows how many people are in the discord server and that is why I am here asking a question. Mine just shows 0 members online and I am wondering what I need to do to get that to work. Also can this page be customized because clicking the link doesn't really do anything for me and I wouldn't mind just adding some details here and manually putting the invite link if i need to.

Okay so that page revolves around setting up the WidgetBot. I had thought it was a something different but it's not a bad upgrade if it's something you need. I think it would be beneficial to those who are purchasing this Addon for the first time if maybe an updated video or at least these things were put into the FAQ.

On my site I've only seen users on the popup.

That looks like the popup - I was referring to the "View Discord" option that if enabled presents a new tab in the navigation called discord and on that page the widget bot if set up will basically display a web version of the discord server.

@Jaxel I noticed this doesn't take into consideration permission masks? so even if something gets posted in a private forum it still pops up on the discord channel? Will permission settings be coming in an update? or?

No. Don't post private forums to discord... or have them post to a private discord channel.

So how would I prevent posts in private forums from posting? I only saw 1 option for all threads/posts and not individual? or is it not possible to not have certain forums not be posted to discord?

You can define node specific Discord settings.
