Discord Integration [Paid] 2.9.0

Oh is it already a feature? I've checked the templates and seen no custom modifications.

However we are on a somewhat outdated version, Discord Integration 2.6.0, my assumption now is that the we simply have an outdated version..

If we were to update from 2.6.0 to 2.9.0, will there be any underlying issues? We've upgraded a huge addon like this before and had to recreate everything, so I'm concerned whether we'd need to get users to relink their account

Oh yeah, that'll be why it's not working for you then. This specific feature/change came in the v2.7.6 update it looks like.

I don't think you'll have any issues upgradign but probably worth trying in a staging environment first, just to be safe.

Worth mentioning that there is some new functionality that requires users to re-link their accounts (so that the add-on can get more permissions) before it can be used but this process is optional and things will continue to work without the new permissions. They'll see something like this in their connected accounts area if they need to re-link:
