Oh yeah, that'll be why it's not working for you then. This specific feature/change came in the v2.7.6 update it looks like.

I don't think you'll have any issues upgradign but probably worth trying in a staging environment first, just to be safe.

Worth mentioning that there is some new functionality that requires users to re-link their accounts (so that the add-on can get more permissions) before it can be used but this process is optional and things will continue to work without the new permissions. They'll see something like this in their connected accounts area if they need to re-link:

Our site is locked down, but we have been using this addon for years. The best feature we have found with it, is the thread to discord auto poster which keeps users on Discord engaged and visiting the forum as well. Especially for those larger discussions that are better handled through a forum thread.

Tried purchasing but every time I try and register, no error message - just wipes the fields and returns back to the register?
 
The default bot configuration uses admin privileges to manage syncing of channel permissions which is probably what triggers this. This really only matters if your server has more than 10000 users.

I don't think that's triggering it? The only Privileged Intent the app is claiming is the Message Content Privileged Intent, which doesn't seem to touch on channel permissions.

Channel permissions if anything should've fallen under the Guild Members Privileged Intent, but seeing as it doesn't have that one now and things work fine I guess that wasn't necessary.

Yeah, our server has a lot more than that.
 
We're experiencing something similar - I believe it's also based on connected apps count right? (we've got 2 servers and bots, both with over 100k but only one is affected)

I'm assuming that even if we disable the intents, it won't cause any other issues to the bot? Just the syncing of channel permissions?

My understanding is that the add-on is not affected, as it does not use endpoints that require those intents.
 
Hi Naz - this is an amazing addon, thank you!

I've followed all the steps to connect Discord to my forum, and all statuses are now green as they should be. However, users cannot connect their Discord accounts to their forum accounts since we get an "Invalid OAuth2 redirect_uri" error. Do you know how we can resolve this? Thank you!
