UI.X

UI.X 1.5.22.0

No permission to download
No.

It happens on Thread View with BD Widget Sidebars.
Samples:
  1. http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...threads/kiffin-just-resigned-via-text.239477/
  2. http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...oural-assessment-scale-nbas-cambridge.115581/

So looks like the issue only happens on XenForo site using UI-X and BD Widget Framework sidebar on Thread View.

If it is an issue with UI.X, why am I not having problems, nor are others either? Why are there some others not using UI.X having problems too?
Can you please enable BD Widget Sidebar on your Forum, Thread view specifically.
Just for a couple of hours for us to test.
I have a forum with this combinition XF+Default Style+BD Widget Sidebar on Thread View and it works fine.

I'll have a test this afternoon.

Can you also try resubmitting some of the broken pages to Google Web Cache as per the instructions here https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en to see if it fixes things? Also if you could try the fetch and render in Google Webmaster Tools (under the Crawl section) to see if you are getting anything blocked/temporarily unavailable.

Maybe an issue with Google also as new threads on that forum doesn't encounter such issue.
Do you have any new threads in Google Web Cache that have been cached by Google after 13th October which you haven't resubmitted yourself? It'd be interesting to see if these are still broken or not.

I have but it's not broken.
That would seem to suggest, along with previous posts by me and others, that there has been an issue with Google Web Cache and rendering of certain Web pages during a specific period.

I do not believe it is just UI.X that does this, I think it is a minor issue with google cache in which it isn't case sensitive on the class.

XenForo adds 'Sidebar' class to html, not UI.X. And yet google cache renders this thinking it wants 'sidebar' not the lowercase s. Which is not the same class. Note that both classes are XenForo-based, not ones we've created. Its not the best naming convention on XenForo's part either.
This would seem to make sense and Google have now resolved this issue which is why cached pages in the last day or two are now rendering correctly.

What do you have with your ****ing apologise in every sentence?
Are you James James Blunt?

I report problems here. Not more.
Oh dear. What a shame you can't keep this civil, throwing insults and swearing on the forums. Grow up.

The problem was Google Web Cache. It's pretty much been shown to be the case by all of the other posts in this thread. If you can come up with some additional evidence then please to, but do try to be mature about it and treat people with respect, posting abuse and bad language isn't going to do you any favours.

Some people just dislike being proved wrong.

@RoldanLT I have now tested this combination (I've currently switched it off again but can switch it back on if you need to check anything).

I checked several pages (all with UI.X + BD Widget Sidebar in Thread View). I resubmitted them to Google Web Cache. Here are 3 of them:

http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...-beta-playable-offline-open-to-everyone.2470/

http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...s.net/threads/playstation-now-streaming.2499/

http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...net/threads/baro-kiteer-the-void-trader.2171/

As you can see, they all appear as expected.

I also did the "Fetch and Render" in Webmaster Tools under Crawl > Fetch as Google. In each case, no scripts were temporarily unavailable. The only things that were blocked in each case (just as previously) are all things I have specifically added to robots.txt (advertising).

I do think it must have been a temporary issue with Google's Web Cache, I can't see it being anything else with all of this evidence. Fortunately the cache seems to have been fixed now so hopefully the older broken cached pages will disappear in the coming days and be replaced by the fixed ones.
