It also loads on mine and here, just not certain posts now. It isn't a Xenforo thing though as I showed with the embed code from IG, I made a quick page on my dev server that only contained the embed code and it also didn't load. As well as on here.
I think it has to do with the reel part.

Good news, embeds work as normal again (even the previous reels that didnt work - reposted them, good to go). We did it!All new IG emeds are just loading as links now for me.
I'm on 2.2.something. But seems to have started this morning.
Edit: If I grab the link from the web, they work as normal. I tried a different page on mobile and the same thing, just embeds as a link.

I get a "Something went wrong" page when I try to visit this link. Either the post/reel has been deleted, or it's so geofenced to the max that I can't see it from any IP I can get my hands on. This is what I get.

Yeah, some headers / policies will interfere with embeds. CSP can completely prevent the embed from being displayed, but in that case the error message would be generated by the browser; It wouldn't look like a YouTube page. Or as I mentioned earlier, Referrer-Policy may prevent a
Referer from being sent, which would interfere with some videos if the publisher has opted to limit what sites are allowed to embed it.

Hey @JoshyPHP I've asked about this before but I thought it was interesting enough to ask here again but I also don't really care considering it's one member and it's such a trivial problem. I asked about playing Twitter videos and whether it opens a new window to play the video or plays in the video player. You said it had to do with clicking the right pixel, etc.
He messaged me and said I found an instance where it's weird because one video plays fine but the one you posted just a minute later kicks me to a new window.
Here is the video that played fine in browser:
But here is the one that kicked him to a new window. Notice two things, that it says "view post" in the bottom and also that the video is being quote tweeted:
Any thoughts?
PS. Truth Social got back to me with some generic "thank you for submitting, we'll pass along" but it doesn't appear they've changed anything. That said, if the tweet isn't short, it often displays right so that's uhh nice.

@zzlpolitics If you send me a link to those posts I'll look into it, but AFAICT that's entirely Twitter's decision. It's possible their layout does not reliably "linkify" the correct parts of the tweet, or they're running some kind of A/B testing.
