you can manually set the filter to sort by first message likes in a forum but the admincp does not have such a dropdown entry for the display order. Was this left out on purpose or is it simply not planned?
I‘d love to automatically sort certain forums by first message likes to gauge...
Inspired by the XF1 add-on "Post Ratings", and the prevalence of "Reactions" as an alternative to the single dimensional Likes.
To consolidate alerts use Alert Improvements
This add-on will require configuration, only a default "Like" is added after installing.
Just a quick question... If I have a post/thread with likes, and if I delete that the post/thread, will the 'likes' on my profile automatically delete? because the post/thread has been deleted?
(This is regarding any version of XF btw..)
If you're on a forum where your post gets liked (or rated) a lot, then you will get many alerts for feedback on previous posts.
This feedback is sent to you in the form of an alert.
With each alert, you're notified that you're were liked or rated in relation to 'some' post in a certain thread...

From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.

I have some issues with likes, since I had to reinstall xf and reimport data.

For large forums, please see the "Installing for large forums" section...
For posts and profile posts, I have a View Likes link that instantly takes you to the likes overlay.
Now that we've updated to 1.5, I'd like to do the same thing for profile post comments. I'm not seeing anything I can use for reference in the new profile_post_comment, but this is what I have...
Our editorial content @ AVForums doesn't currently have a Like system.
Would it be time consuming to extend the standard XF like system to allow members to Like our content? Including the permissions etc.?
(It's *so* 'likable'!)
Thanks in advance.
This add-on is untested to work with Tapatalk, and I am unable to support any conflicts which may be caused by the use of it.
This add-on introduces potentially breaking changes to moderation permissions. Please review usergroup permissions carefully!
