If you're on a forum where your post gets liked (or rated) a lot, then you will get many alerts for feedback on previous posts.
This feedback is sent to you in the form of an alert.
With each alert, you're notified that you're were liked or rated in relation to 'some' post in a certain thread.
But what post?!
You have to click and load the thread to find out.
It would be great if you could hover over the alert and the post in question would load, so you could see it at a glance without having to load the entire thread and verify the post.
It could appear similar to the first post preview for normal threads.
