That is. You can invalidate proxies so they won't work.
I guess I will have to wait to play with it myself before commenting any further.

Right, but when someone copies and pastes an entire thread and then pastes it on another xenForo site or a site with a WYSIWYG editor, it will include the proxy portion of the link and those clicks will also count, even though that url is no longer on your forum. Is that not correct?
I thought the XF proxy could only be accessed if the referrer is their own website? My understanding is if you try to access XF's link proxy from, say, vBulletin then it wouldn't work because the referrer wouldn't be XF.They will only break if you invalidate them.

Technically not because the hash is still there. If I copy a link like this (use right-click and copy link location):
http://www.google.com
This is copied:
Code:http://xenforo.com/community/proxy.php?link=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&hash=dbe607508848eb6e5d37cd577eb3f661
If I now paste this to another forum or website the link will be broken.
1.4!! Thanks for the insight... ... otherwise, you'd see a whole thing on bounced mail processing.)
Maybe they shouldn't be introduced/mentioned at all until ready to be implemented? As my post states: "Not all new features will be implemented immediately or they may not even be implemented here"
It is developed.
It just hasn't been enabled here.
Why would you think 1.3 would be rolled out here if it wasn't ready?
Just to prove it, here's a screenshot of the ACP taken a few seconds ago:

I agree with that, I don't need it.I personally think multi-quote is a bad feature. It's mostly on here for testing; it may not be enabled beyond the beta.
There aren't any custom BB codes that I see a pressing need for here. But both of these have been very commonly requested. The same goes for smilie management.
Multi-quote allows you to quote across different pages and even different threads quickly and easily without having to use your OS clipboard to store the quotes. Using the Reply button, you can only quote what's on the current page.I have always been confused by Xenforo's "reply" and quote" system. So the new multi quote just adds to it. If you see here http://xenforo.com/community/threads/abuse-of-power.67180/#post-706275 - sorry @Adam Howard I hijacked that test thread, I get the same "multi quote" effect as the new multi quote feature, am I missing something? In the first example, I just "replied" (reply button) to all of the posts, the second one, I used the multi quote + button…just don't get the new feature and how its different then what was already there besides being able to put them in specific order, not sure why you would need that however.
In which case, luckily for you, there's a setting in the ACP to disable the functionalityAgain- perhaps a good tool for mods and admins ( can't remember the last time I would even need to multi quote multiple threads from different content to be honest) but really does nothing to enhance my users forum experience...as far as usefulness -just my 2 cents.
