What do you use to edit PHP files?

Why not just write the code on a piece of paper and scan it in? It'd teach you to have good handwriting or the OCR software would give you a parse error. ;)

I've tried that - but I've got a folder for each page, each revision for each page for my custom CMS - complete with revision notes. That took and awfully long time.

Just trying NetBeans and it's quite nice, but I prefer Dreamweaver CS5 to it, but it's darn good for a free piece of software!

Aha, many netBeans here, but i do not like it.

I use Comodo IDE or ZendStudio 6.1.2 (i do not understand, what zend do, that a newer version is buggy on mac os...)

On Windows i use notepad or, i like it, CrimsonEditor.

Notepad++ on PC
Textmate on OSX

never actually tried using netbeans for php dev though... I'll have to check it out later
