Well, obviously other than this post where you are instructed to drop the tables and start again, nobody knows.

I noticed a bug that happens if I'm setting the $config['development']['default_addon'] variable and create a new template modification in any non master style, the modification will be saved to my default addon where as it should not be attached to any addon and the style only.
Edit: Actually I didn't realise that XF had this issue itself when saving templates, so it's probably just the way XF does things, maybe I'll post a bug report in case... If they change it, I'm assuming it will resolve itself here too.

How do I install it? When I bring the file in it says this "The files associated with this add-on could not be found. Please upload them and try again."
I figured this mod would also include the searching and replacing in admin templates. Is that even possible? If not I'll have to instruct my users to replace an entire admin template to include my changes which I guess is ok unless they update and don't remember the changes.
I assume there's no template hooks where you want to change a template... so why don't you just use the template post render event? What template do you need modified and for what purpose?
Step 1 => upload files on server. Step 2 => upload .xml file. Step 3 => "The files associated with this add-on could not be found. Please upload them and try again.".
