Your best bet may be to just track down the original tweet and use that instead.

It was working must be something I've added then, only added a few Addons & Ssl to my site will test

It's HTTPS. IMDb didn't work via HTTPS the last time I checked. I'll see if they've added support for it and update the code accordingly.

ESPN is discontinuing espndeportes.com and have folded its content into espn.go.com

ESPN Deportes videos can still be watched via the ESPN media site. If you have ESPN Deportes videos and want to convert them to the ESPN media site, install the Post Content Find / Replace add-on and execute the following replacement:

It works fine for me. Either it was a temporary outage at Imgur or your forums use HTTPS and Imgur had/has a problem serving content over HTTPS.

Edit: ok, I'm getting conflicting results. I may update the Imgur media site in a moment.

I'd recommend adding support for Giphy. They have a clearly supported embedded player/API for their media. The site also hosts a growing, well-tagged library of animations. Giphy is also the default animated GIF search engine integrated with Facebook Messenger for iOS, so it's popularity will likely continue to grow.
