Content Ratings

Content Ratings [Paid] 2.8.5

No permission to buy ($35.00)
@Xon is there a way to display who reacted to the post. With the usernames that reacted such as the built in Xenforo system has it? After enabling I've noticed it doesn't show the users who reacted to the post but only a number beside it with how many did. I will be renewing my updates sometime early in the summer. Thanks for the help.

Very happy with this plugin now that I've upgraded to XF2.1. I have one question.

I imported Post Ratings successfully but it seems like some counts are off. Is there a way to run some sort of job to update Ratings counts for the users?

Yes, under the Tools => Rebuild Caches there are some jobs which do this. Warning they are slow.

Also, is there a way to set the node ratings so that a person can remove or modify their rating?
There isn't actually anyway to stop someone from removing or modifying their reaction to some content. It just depends on some of the style property options for where the 'remove reaction' button is.

So if I’m not seeing a way to modify a rating what should I do for the style.

What do you mean "modify a rating"?
I just realized I didn't respond to you.

What I mean is that I can only leave a rating on someone's post. I cannot go back to that post and change the rating once I've made it. I can't find anywhere on the post where I can remove a LIKE or change it to another kind of rating.

You need to remove the reaction, and then you can add it again just like with stock XenForo reactions. It depends a bit on your style property options, but there should be a 'remove' button or just clicking the reaction button again

OK, I see that now. Do you notice the Like functionality of this forum where after I Like your post I can see that I liked it and who else liked the post? It also retains the Like Icon after I like the post and I can still click on it to change or remove it. I guess that's what I was hoping it might provide through a setting.

I apologize if this has been asked ans answered. I searched for it but see very poorly due to macular degeneration.

Under a user profile, I can click on the Reactions Received and get a time-based list of all reactions received. The Reactions Given, however, displays a number but it cannot be clicked on to see all the reactions given.

Am I missing a setting somewhere to enable this?

My (paid) User Essentials add-on, adds a Reactions Given list. With that add-on installed, Content Ratings then makes it a clickable link.

That's a little disappointing. I suppose I would have expected that a $35.00 plugin would have included something that basic.

Is there a way to display positive, negative and neutral ratings in the postbit. Something like: Reactions +1 | 2045 | -3, Positive | Neutral | Negative

This would require some template edits

Is there any way to turn off Content Ratings for a thread when a user has been banned from responding to a thread?

Is there any way to style this differently on a mobile when in portrait view?

Landscape view displays fine on a phone, but portrait view it looks a little messy.

That is the automatic responsive table stuff from XenForo, it is actually based on screensize. I'll need to re-implement those lists to change how it handles it.

I thought that might be the case. It's not a huge issue, but we all know what some users can be like.

"OMFG ITS BROKEN!!!!!!@@!@@!@!@!!!"
You: "No, no it's by design".
