No, because a user cannot be a guest and logged in at the same time. If you want to display ads to both registered and unregistered, you don't need user criteria.

Yes, it is possible. You can do that for thread posts, thread list, conversation posts, profile posts and more.

I think this could be useful. The plugin mentioned above is just another thing I have to install, and I'm not a fan of the intrusive methods used to get people to unblock the ads.

It'd be nice to just display something where the ad SHOULD be, a subtle block of text saying "hey, we don't run crap ads so please consider supporting us". This is surely possibly by altering each ad's code, but having it built in would add value to an already amazing plugin.

I love the addon --- I just wish the positions were better organized / spelled out. I find that one part to be very confusing and time consuming..

For example... For positions -- why not have a tab for each page type?

• Forum List
• Thread List
• Thread
• Conversation
• find_new
• Search
• Sitewide

Then for each one, have a list of the possible positions.

For example... Under "Thread" you might have:

• Above content
• Below content
• After post X
• Inside post X
• Below posts
• Footer

and no others.


Just a thought. Right now trying to create new ads, move ads around, can be arduous. I think something like this would simplify things greatly.

even better if each ad could have a "else" ad assigned. Meaning, if adblocker is detected, run "this" banner instead.

@gldtn, you are right, I forgot about that. Until I release an update, you could bypass that by temporarily disabling javascript.

I'll have to wait since Xenforo seems not to let you even save the form with Javascript being off. I tried editing the create.js file to disable that function, but I could not understand the code or to even know that's the right file to edit

But I have four queued ads that seem never to get set to active.
