Not necessarily, if the title isn't included in the URL it doesn't change.Something to consider is that changing the title, changes the URL
I'm not sure what this means or when this happens? Any time I change a title, the URL changes with it on my board. Everyone is using friendly URLs now.Not necessarily, if the title isn't included in the URL it doesn't change.
True. But 301 redirect is being auto created and it fixes the problem.Any time I change a title, the URL changes with it on my board. Everyone is using friendly URLs now.
No.Everyone is using friendly URLs now.
That's cool! Thanks for good news!Installed and ran on a forum with 76K threads and I didn't notice a performance issue.
yeah, but I only end up having a few hundred, not sure if that matters, if a table scan is made each timeThe "Duplicated thread Titles opens as fast as any other xF page?
Actually limit set to 100yeah, but I only end up having a few hundred, not sure if that matters, if a table scan is made each time
Oops. Yeah, on my forum too. I was fixing duplicates on my forum, so didn't work with those 2. Probably broke it when were fixing routs. Will fix it asap.long and short pagination results in a 404
Don't be too grumpy.)
Nobody knows that. ) That's what ahrefs says:Are min 20 and max 70 the best settings? When should I go below 20 and go above 70?
I don't know. Actually I didn't change many titles manually. not more than 100-200 out of 17k. but the add-on's template modification "fixed" around 1000 by automatically dropping "| Board title" from page titles, that are > 70. I think that is the reason. As a confirmation of this my theory is an average position change from about 30 to about 20. I guess it can't be caused by seasonal interest to a topic change. That is possibly encouraging. Do you know if the increase is attributable to your title changes, or could it be something else, such as a seasonal traffic increase perhaps?
Fixed pagination for "Too long titles" & "Too short titles" pages.
I'm going to change Max limit from 70 to 50 on my forum and we'll see what happens. )Are min 20 and max 70 the best settings? When should I go below 20 and go above 70?
