Tag Essentials [Deleted]

@Stuart Wright I registered at M2N yesterday. Did not get a confirmation eMail til now. eMail address is correct, no spam filtered. Please check. My name is the same as here. Thanks.
For some reason, AOL does not let our emails through. I've banned the @aol.com emails until I can get Amazon SES set up for outgoing emails for M2N (like we had to do for AVForums).
It would be better for you to change your email address to something else if you could. Otherwise you won't get any emails from M2N until the SES setup process is complete.

Hey,
is it possible to use the prefix as a tag, too?
The description tells us that tags can be added automatically based on the prefix, but what are they removed when the prefix is changed and can they be generated for old/existing threads?

They are not removed when prefixes change.
I was going to suggest using the thread batch update facility to select threads with a certain prefix and add tags, but there is no ability to select threads based on prefix. Which is a bit odd.
So no, there is no way to generate tags for threads with an existing prefix.

When batch updating threads, there is an option to add or remove tags from the selected threads.
I don't have the resource manager. Is there a similar option to batch update resources?
Nop, that is why I was asked Daniel to create option for batch update resources tags, like we have for threads, and solution for default resource category tags like we have for nodes

Correction - don't know how I missed it - there *is* a prefix box in the Batch Update Threads search page, so it *is* possible to search for threads with a particular prefix...
hmm, ok, then it won't work for my use case :/
Yes it will because once you have selected the threads with a prefix, you can then add the tag you want.

Did anyone managed to batch-update wikipedia wiki info to existing tags?
Or is this feature planned Stuart?
The most important tags are already made and they don't have the wiki info.

I asked for this when Daniel has ownership:

@Daniel Hood, is there an option or solution to update existed tags with wikipedia description? I have 1000+ created tags.
Can that be somehow fixed with batch update or with some other solution?

That's a good idea but I don't see it happening very soon. Maybe down the road though.

I have regularly those errors:

Looks like that error is from https://xenforo.com/community/resources/bd-tag-me-for-xenforo-1-3.386/
which is not related to this addon.
Does disabling that addon stop the error?
