I have noticed this with tweets that are considering nsfw for any reason. There are no visual labels for these tweets. For me it is usually with tweets containing violence photos or videos from news reporters. It's possible that Twitter has similar invisible labeling for complete accounts as well based on their internal parameters.

Easy way to check is fetching embed code from tweet itself and try loading them in a html file.

Hi @JoshyPHP , could you please add support for Medal.TV? Here's the PHP regex:
Alright, should be done by the time you read this.
Hi @JoshyPHP - I noticed something odd in the last couple of days and I don't know if it is something in your code or something on X's end, but most X posts embed just fine on my forum except for posts from one specific X member. When I try to post any of his posts, I get "Not Found" errors (his posts are not deleted either - these are live posts).
Send me (here or in DM) a URL for that person's posts and I'll look into it.

I sent you a DM last Wednesday after I posted my note in this thread. I'll bump the DM again. Let me know if it is not clear.

youtube clip/ urls don't seem to embed.

eg:

They just unfurl on my site:

does nitter have an official embed code system? it would be amazing to be able to embed tweets using nitter which should massively reduce the size of each embed.

I have users reporting screen lock and inability to scroll on X embeds using Chrome on mobile. The issue seemed related to an X outage today, but has also been happening sporadically over the last couple months. Any suggestions?

have noticed this too over the last couple of weeks. i would guess it is just some nonsense chrome did and probably cannot be resolved by changing something client side.

I'm getting lots of users regularly mentioning this on chrome/android too.

@JoshyPHP awesome work as always.

As others have mentioned, the issue with Error 153 for youtube videos is still there, probably has to do with CF or something else.

Also, I am sure this has been asked before but is it possible to also introduce user group permissions for using the BB media codes.?

Does anyone know the cause of this? I thought at first it was age-restricted videos, but it appears to be all of them.

I'm now suspecting YouTube is defaulting to not allowing embedded videos?

Hello,

I've had a lot on my plate and didn't take time to renew my license. 😅 I'll resume normal maintenance and publish an update as soon as it's fixed.

I'm going to catch up in chronological order.

@JoshyPHP it happens on mobile. It works on Desktop and desktop mobile view but not on mobile.

I can't reproduce but I'll add some markup to allow clipboard writes. Hopefully that'll fix it.

youtube clip/ urls don't seem to embed.

eg:
It works on my board, but YouTube may be fussy and reject your server's attempt at retrieving the original video's ID. In the next update, I'll add support for posting the whole "embed" URL to avoid this issue, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/embed/sp7VbdKsXgA?clip=UgkxOzZEMnWnaqvedIljjCUoOYzXYBoYxluE&clipt=EMDkmgEY_eqbAQ

Good question; I'd like to because xcancel seems widely shared but I don't suppose xcancel provide proper embeds, do they? I've been tracking that Nitter issue for a couple of years. Unless they can provide a way to resize their embeds, the only workaround I see is to remove the "cancel" part and embed it as a Twitter embed.
