Imgur embeds support appears broken, as it is trying to load the url https://imgur.com/a/classic/embed?pub=true which returns a 404
I'm going to look into it this weekend. If they changed the way their embed works, I'll update accordingly.

I worked around it by simplifying the YouTube embed template and handling responsiveness separately. After this change, YouTube embeds started displaying correctly again, including after refreshing the page.
That would indicate an issue related to your style. Try using the default XenForo style with the add-on's own YouTube template. If it fixes the issue, it means your usual style uses a different element structure that my add-on can't recognize. If you send me a link to a page in your forums that displays a YouTube video, I'll take a look at it.

By the way,

I'm not really active as a user in these forums and I only come read this thread whenever I receive a notification or it's been suspiciously quiet for a couple of months. Clearly I'm missing some update notifications so I'm quite late in replying here. If your question seems to be ignored for several days to a week, feel free to dm me.

I think Imgur disabled hotlinking their videos in a native player. Uncheck your s9e_MediaSites_Native_GIFs options in the admin panel if it's checked, and if it fixes it, we'll know it's the culprit.
I think they have started blocking referrers from some sites
I tested on my test board with referrers enabled and it worked normally. The only referrer Imgur sees is the GitHub domain that serves as sandbox, s9e.github.io so if they blocked it, it would affect everyone. The only explanation for the host to matter would be if they used a weird frame-ancestors CSP.

That option hasn't been enabled on the site being effected.

Let me do some more troubleshooting.

Have version php 7.4.33 Are there any updates available for these PHP versions? I have numerous plugins that are not yet compatible with PHP 8.x, so I haven't been able to migrate some of them yet.

Facebook posts can no longer be embedded.
Instead of a Facebook post, a message appears stating that the post has been deleted or that the privacy settings have changed.
Is there an update
Thanks

I'm having no trouble with Facebook embeds on sites I admin.

Seriously doubt this site uses this addon.

Yes, this is a reel, but this posting doesn't show:

It's common to see that. It's nothing to do with this add-on or with xenforo. It's about perms on the reel. Might have to be logged in to view it, and the xenforo installation can't log in. Might even have to be a follower of the page or account that posted the reel. Linking to third party sources has always been an iffy proposition.

If the /share/ link (short URL) does not work, try posting the full URL to your board https://www.facebook.com/reel/3511457709020059/. The issue with short URLs is that they need to be resolved by your server, and Facebook may block it if it interprets it as a bot scraping content.

Both the short URL and the full URL work on my test board, probably because Facebook like the residential IP of my test server.

Seeing a weird thing where IG reels unfurl properly if the url has "reel" in it but not if it has "reels" in it. Example I saw on my site:

JavaScript:
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbFBU7alGuP //This works
https://www.instagram.com/reels/DbFBU7alGuP //This does not

kind of crazy that from the looks of it, their share feature generates/uses the reel link which redirects to reels link on opening.

@JoshyPHP I've had someone trying to embed https://www.threads.com/@resetera_forum, Threads site embed is enabled but this doesn't appear to be working. Looking at the regex for the content it should be ok.
