No change from last time. URLs with no obvious alphanumeric IDs such as those are cumbersome to deal with. If that site is particularly important to your forums and you want to pay for its development or addition, you can contact me by private message. Or you may want to put a request in the Custom Service/Development Requests forum.

I'm always conflicted about that kind of hosting websites. Since all they provide is a direct link to the video, I think they are better handled with a generic HTML5 BBCode such as this one: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/bbcode-multimedia-html5media.1603/
 
@Huskermax That's not a supported site, and since it looks like a media platform used by a few local news and small sites, it's not something I would add to the add-on.
 
@JoshyPHP is there a way to get imgur .mp4 links to work in img tags as .gif or .gifv instead. I know with their site you can replace it with either and it works. On that note is there a way for img tag to work with .gifv! I know that is probably step one that might not be on your end.

Realistically: not really and definitely not with XenForo's media sites feature. .gifv URLs are actually HTML pages that contain an MP4 video player. You wouldn't be able to use it in an IMG tag.
 
Maybe an odd request - can we get some love for simpsonsworld.com embeds? :)

Also I have a bit of a technical question - when Xenforo has bb codes by default, and S9 has the same ones, what determines which one the software uses to render the embed?

The site is region-locked and I can't access it, so I guess not. :cautious:

Every time an add-on is installed, it overwrites existing settings such as media sites. As far as I know, the add-on renders the default media sites fine so your old embeds will be displayed with the add-on's layout.

I looked into it but that kind of sites don't really appeal to the general public, sorry.

I don't know about that one. I can't find a lot of activity on social sites and they've lost nearly 20,000 ranks on Alexa since the beginning of the year. It's probably better if you add this site to your local installation instead.
