What a giant slap in the face for all those of us who believed in him to deliver a product, and sided with him when he promised us he'd stand by it till it was done. I even stood by him when the doubters warned us this would happen.
I believed in him, his skills speak for themselves. Now, I understand him taking a few months out for school/personal reasons... but to return and just leave all of us in the dark like this is unacceptable.
I put $200 into crowdfunding this, and for the most part I thought it was a good investment. He was one of the most friendly, approachable devs on Xenforo. He took on board all of our requests and up till now delivered an amazing beta/alpha product which quite honestly was just a few yards short of the finish line... with the user feedback system being one of the only things holding this back from prime time. To abandon the project at this stage would be disgraceful.
He can redeem himself RIGHT now by just coming on here and just posting a little update. Even if it was to just say he's so busy with other commitments but is still committed to finishing this project, he'd be A-OK in my books. Those of us who backed him to deliver will have some hope of receiving a finished product at least.
@Mr. Goodie2Shoes the ball is in your court. Posting a little update isn't going to hurt, sure you'll get some grief from a few but people like me who believe in your product will still just be glad you've got plans to finish it. Come on buddy, you've done all that groundwork and have a near-final product, don't abandon it now.
