To find the room id, in room list, hover over an action link (link/edit/delete) and look in the left corner of the browser for this part: ..chat/room/2/...
I shouldn´t mix things up I was referring to the social groups language issue I have.I have already responded to your PM. I can add language criteria for each room in the core but no more that that.
No, sorry, you'll have to wait for Siropu or someone else to tell you that. But I wouldn't advise you to mix the new thread notices with regular chat, if that's why you're asking. People often won't see new chat comments if they have to scroll up too much, so a lot of new thread notices, especially if you get users on posting sprees, is going to result in comments not being seen by some - which will make for a less engaging chat space. Just my 2 cents.@imno007 thanks, I just found the option, now would you happen to know where I have the option to have the Link bold texted and underlined?
It works well for that, if people aren't much interested in using the chat for chatting. You might want to look at these, though, for some other idea on how you might display new threads:New Thread notices are all I put. We are a small forum of about 90 active users. I appreciate you getting back to me, I hope @Siropu has an easy answer for my text adjustments.
Worked like a charm, thank you!To change the text style, edit phrase siropu_chat_new_thread_notification and change{user} has started a new thread called "{thread}" in {forum}.
with{user} has started a new thread called "{thread}" in {forum}.
