im also trying to figure this out hopefully someone could help us
 
@xfrocks - I am using the 2.6.2 beta as well and just realized that when using the Recent Posts visit type, threads don't show in the widget until they have received at least 1 reply. Is there a way to change this behavior?
 
With 2.6.2 beta version members online widget title doesn't link to the online user list like with the old version.
 
My issue with latest beta is in Recent Threads. I have forums excluded from displaying but threads from these forums still display in the widget.

Also cannot get the XFMG New Media widget to display a title. Have tried in the widget config, phrases, layout editor and all fail.
 
We already have 2.6.2-BETA5, but does anyone knows what have been corrected in this version?
This is the only think that I need to have so I can upgrade to php7!
 
I'm running 2.6.2-Beta5 on TAZ - the problem with Recent Threads still persists - it does not respect the forum selector. In order for the widget to be used at all, I have to set it to Use guest permissions (instead of current user permissions) but that's basically a kludge.

I have that as well on some of my sites but not others. All with fresh installs. Do you also have it that threads don't show up in the widget until they have at least one reply?

Which would cause threads in a Private (Staff) forum to not show up, correct?

Haven't noticed that Amin.
 
That is kludgy. I suddenly notice my 'Headlines' forum started spamming to Recent Threads widget - we try to hide all our garbage content there... Looks like I'll be downgrading tonight

Hi, could you confirm that in 2.6.1 beta 11 you can have a widget that show recent threads only from specific nodes?
