[8WR] XenRio (Streams) PRO

[8WR] XenRio (Streams) PRO [Paid] 1.2.6b

No permission to buy ($40.00)
Hey Jaxel, I have listened to your video about XenRio twice now and sorry if I ask something you already went over, but feel like I want to ask to make sure. The games also known as "Categories", lets say I make a custome Category called "Level 19Twinks" and another called "Level 29 Twinks", which is a thing you can do in the game "World of Warcraft" Then we have some livestreams on twitch streaming under the game World of Warcaft but are there any possible way they can choose these subcategories on my website to show what they are doing in World of Warcraft, like if they are playing Level 19 Twinks or Level 29 Twinks. Sorry for the bad explanation :p

Best regards Shamatix
Games are also known as "Categories" because they are categories SUPPLIED BY THE STREAM SERVICE. On Twitch, they categorize streams by what game they are playing... so its incidental. On other services, such as Ustream, they are categorized as normal categories, such as Tech/News/Lifestyle/etc...

Ah okay, no plans I guess on adding categories for the website it self that isnt depending on like the stream service? But so when you edit an channel you can kinda "tag" it by a categroie?

This is still happening with 1.1.7 on my server.
Zend_Db_Statement_Mysqli_Exception: Mysqli statement execute error : Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x92\x95' for column 'stream_status' at row 1097 -library/Zend/Db/Statement/Mysqli.php:214

Since the Application.php gets reverted I'll adjust the settings in there and see if it helps, but I really would not like to do any database manipulation today xD

Hi,

I have a few questions before I buy:

1. Does it allow members to add to the stream page?

2. Is YouTube Live Stream supported?

Are you using the old justin.tv code for SSL?
Yesm if you mean:

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="100%" height="100%" data="https://www-cdn.jtvnw.net/swflibs/TwitchPlayer.swf">
<param name="movie" value="https://www-cdn.jtvnw.net/swflibs/TwitchPlayer.swf">
<param name="flashvars" value="channel={serviceVAL1}&auto_play=true">
<param name="allowfullscreen" value="true">
<param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always">
<param name="allownetworking" value="all" />
</object>

Yes. Thats the old justin.tv player. It only has one color.

Got any solution to be able to have both a working player with SSL and dark chat:S?
I would say complain to Twitch... but they aren't listening. Ever since they got that CBS deal many years ago, they stopped interacting with the smaller fringes of the community. When they were bought by Amazon, things became even worse. I know the guy who orchestrated the Amazon deal personally, and even I can't get things done.

Hell, it took them over a year to fix a simple issue such as the autoplay respect in their embed player (#289)

Its been THREE years since they marked this API feature as "planning" (#56)

Then of course there is the issue of their API randomly dropping data (which I have put in error checks for in XenRio, but I shouldnt have to)... and people are still reporting that its happening. (how can you target an API that randomly changes and fails to report data) (#274)

You want an even better example... here is something I reported almost three years ago on the failure of their privacy settings:

https://github.com/justintv/Twitch-API/issues/120

The lead developer commented that I was right and they felt they should correctly honor the privacy setting of the user within the API itself. After almost 2 years, they still had not fixed the issue and the privacy setting was still not respected within the API. Then after 2 years? They simply removed the setting from the API completely.

I will throw a complain there way tommorow:)

Hi,

I have just bought this and have installed it, all is working great.
But I would like to know about the Youtube setup and a submit question:

1. What API Key do I need for Youtube, is it Browser or Server?
2. Is the Youtube for Live streaming only or can it add normal channels?
3. Also when adding do I need to add youtube.com/c/name or do I need youtube.com/channel/id ?
4. I have allowed members to Submit channels, do Admins need to approve them, or are they auto approved?

Apologize for the wait, but here you go!

The recent update changes `stream_status` from varchar(255) to tinyblob. If it didn't do this, that means you ran the upgrade script before uploading the files. I don't know how many times I have to say this... UPLOAD THE FILES BEFORE YOU RUN THE UPDATE SCRIPT.

Server. Live streaming only. Both work. Depends on permission settings.
