    if your licenses runs out for Xenforo can you still buy addons and resources also if you do not renew theXenForo Media Gallery, Resource Manager, Enhanced Search extensions are you no longer allowed to use them or will you not get up dates

    As long as you have a license, you can continue to use the forum and resource manager here. We don't block you from doing that. The RM and MG licenses are tied to your main license, if you renew your main license then they will be renewed too. When the license is expired, you can continue to use all of the software (including add-ons) but you won't be entitled to ticket support or updates.

    Keep up the good work. I'm learning a lot. I'm a smart guy, I just lack the experience. I know the basics of PHP syntax. I even have scripting references that I've been going over. Just need a project that could give me some experience. I'm excited to see what I can do. I made several threads in the development section and some people were kind enough to answer them. I'll enjoy giving this a go.

    You're welcome. We all started somewhere. I started in pretty much exactly the same position as you (right here on this forum). Little to no PHP or even general programming experience. As long as you have the patience and stubbornness to stick at it, you'll go far. And XF2 is a great framework to get stuck into. Sorry I can't reply to all of your mentions. Both busy and tired here in equal measure 😴

    No problem @Chris D I completely understand not being able to reply to all of my mentions. I'm glad several people were able to assist me anyways. This community has come a long way and I can't wait to see how far it goes into the future. I recently bought a 2nd license I plan to use for this exact purpose as well as possible themes. I have extensive experience with html and css but I hope to add php to the list soon

    Hi Chris, I was reviewing your post on GDPR compliance features. I was wondering if you have any recommendation regarding integrating Xenforo's consent tracking features with an external CMP. We have any api to a central CMP that we are using across other properties. For example, is it possible to use an event listener when a user clicks a consent checkbox to fire a request to an external api?

    Your customer account and forum account are separate. You need to log in to the Customer area and add your forum username to the "Forum users" page.

    Hey, im not sure where to post my question. Im a mod at a forum that uses xenforo. Me and the other staff are wondering if there is a way to allow registered users make their posts (not threads) only viewable to other registered users? Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Either the license holder would need to post themselves (on the forum or submit a ticket), or they will need to add you to their list of forum users. Until then, we'll be unable to provide any support.

    how to get profile gifs to work my gif only works when i click edit then it starts playing who to keep the gif animating forum wide on XF2 XF1 did this automatically.

    hello, my intention in buying xenforo was to use aMember to create a paywall similar to forums like this: https://stmforum.com/amember/signup.php

    i'm having nothing but issues with aMember. is there anyway to do this with xenforo at all without aMember?

    More like a frustrating but necessary distraction. That is what we’ve mostly been working on for the last few weeks and beyond, hence why we had so many outstanding bugs to tackle. Then there’s the importers we still need to finish. We’re getting there though 🙂

    Awesome. I'd imagine getting back to enhancements and new features gives one a sense of renewal. Kudos and fried chicken to you guys! Looking very much forward to the "Have You Seen's"! Only a few minor kinks to work out on our site, 98% of which are server-related and I can take some time to finish off my retro gaming room. :)

    XR.com would look nice on XF2 as well, with a swanky new Pixel Exit style... just mainly one thing I need to make it happen, and I suspect quite possibly the same thing you need :) I'll get there. So very behind with stuff that isn't directly XenForo day job stuff.
