Hello @JoshyPHP

What would cause a tiktok embed to look like this?

Is there a problem with Twitter?

Just hangs at 'Loading tweet...'.
What's happening in situations like this? Does anyone know?

tweets are embedding fine at my end. do check the embed code and see if it embeds if processed through official route.

I found 2 separate "X" media site BB codes (unsure if that's normal) and just asked an AI to check them, but according to it they're both fine....(?)

*Edit: site URL correction - https://twitter.com/

*resorted to screenshots due to getting an error when attempting to post the codes.

I meant getting the embed code directly from x for tweets that are not embedding though this add-on. Putting them in a html file somewhere and then opening that file in browser to see if they load the official way.

Oh, sorry about the misunderstanding, and thank you for trying to clarify.

I've got a weird one - seems like users on a VPN (including Apple Private Relay) can't see Bluesky posts, but if they turn off the VPN and refresh the page, they'll see the posts fine.

Might be a Bluesky issue... but I figured I'd ask here in case there's something going on with the plugin.

best way to check is to get the official embed code from the bluesky post. paste the code in a html file. upload it (local should be fine but just in case!) and open it in browser! i usually do that to test out failing updates in this addon. and it is usually the issue with the service provider.

It means it has been 1-3 months since he last logged in, free add-ons get the unmaintained flag added vastly more aggressively than paid add-ons.

seems archive.org playlist-based URLS are broken - easily fixed by converting to https://archive.org/embed/NAME&playlist=1&list_height=150
https://archive.org/embed/NAME?playlist=1&list_height=150 - first ampersand should become a question-mark.. cannot currently figure out a workaround

EDIT: seems like archive.org itself is at fault! the URL where it grabs the playlist embed code from generates the wrong string. as a workaround I just ended up inserting a regex replace into the template
