If you've made no changes to the Extra.css, then it might be something I need to look at ... I'm away for the next 7 days, but I'll try as soon as I get back
 
Is there a way to change the sorting of articles on the article list pages? it seems to be the rated articles show first.
Is it possible to have them sorted by most recent instead? ty :)

This would be great! For me it's important to see the recent articles first. What currently determines the order? Only the stars?
 
@Morgain at a guess, I'm going to say upload the javasctipt files again, and then try reverting any template changes (I don't have access to look at the issue in more detail, but it looks like the script isn't loading)... I'll be back in about 5 days, but I think the above will probably fix your issue

Sorting is currently ordered by rating

... What I plan is to hand sorting over to the ACP (giving more options for sorting to the admin)

The order by date already there (it's just not pulled to the front)

However, what I think is more important is ordering by activity (Erich37 mentioned this). Activity could include: thread reply, re-publish, review/rating, and PINNING. This all comes together when pinning is a available, so I'll add more sorting options at the time I do the pinning update.

I think most people will want the default order to be Activity (especially when pinning is available), and to be able to include only certain functions as activity. But should you want to have the default order to be just publish date... I'll add that as an option
 
I'm currently in Greece for a week, so I can only give very limited support, but I would look at your Extra.css if you've added anything there

I'll be back in about 5 days, but I think the above will probably fix your issue

Does anyone know about the number of Categories I can display without scrolling horizontally, on the Articles List page?

I have 4 Categories and only space for 3 to display horizontally.
Rather than have one effectively hidden I'd rather have 2 rows of 2 so all 4 show.
Maybe needs an EXTRA.css tweak as I couldn't find a setting.

The Category-Carousel is fully responsive.
The amount of category-boxes shown is automatically adjusting based on the screen-size of your browser-window.

  • In the article list I would use the title of a news as a link to the article (same in editors picks and category list)
  • A link to my published articles (or sth like this) would be good in the visitorTab.
  • Search only for and in articles (new search tab)
  • change order of articles (recent, activity)
  • video (YouTube) as article "image" (like here)
  • count visits
  • Show recent articles in the sidebar or under an article
  • articles as widget
  • hooks in the template of article list
  • latest user comments under article list if review is disabled
  • comment field under article (creates a post in the discussion thread)
  • viewable tags under the article and the possibility to display articles with selected tags
  • allow stars without review
  • possibility to disable categoryThumbs

Suggestion for an other for me very important feature:

Change the autor of an article. In the moment we're using TYPO3 for news, but I would like to convert these news to articles. For this the possibility to change the autor of an article would be great.

- Agree, this should have been added before releasing the current version

- What do you mean by visitors tab, that link is already available at the bottom of the article, or at the bottom of the user profile (other articles by..)

Bought this the other day, but a bit confused. Does this require articles to be made first in xenPorta or does this run solely on it's own?

It runs on its own.
It has some settings in admin/ Options at the bottom, and also Categories on the admin/Applications admin page.
If you enable someone to have editor permissions e.g. you - you/ they will see Create Article in the navbar.
Click on each section of the edit form to edit it.
