If you renamed the user group to "Banana" (which you can do) then it definitely wouldn't make sense to add someone to that user group and expect them to be a moderator.

I would, however, expect them to become a banana

We had an update just over a month ago.

Fear not, I am still here and all is well. I'm beavering away on XF2 primarily, while Mike and Chris are hard at work bringing you 1.5.

Even after that, still lots of things to do where time is best spent doing said things rather than talking about stuff that's ultimately vague or underwhelming. Rest assured, once we have something you want to hear about, you'll hear about it.

One of the things most important that XF 2.0 should care about is also one of the most used addons of Xenforo, the widget framework. Side of the navigation it's the area that most misses customization and flexibility, Xenforo needs its own framework from where addon developers can work upon (instead of several with their own frameworks conflicting with each other)

Actually the first work we have done recently on XF 2.0 since (mostly) finishing 1.5 is implementing the new 1.5 features in 2.0.
