Will you buy an ipad 2?

I personally am waiting for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. iPad is a great device to own but I would rather go with Android with all the USB peripherals that they will allow with the next update. More so because I intend to use the tablet as a replacement for laptop even for forum content creation.

@Peggy - Though it may not make sense to invest in an iPad2 now but unless you are planning to upgrade it in the next one year, I think the iPad2 would be a better buy. Hardware specs wise since I am hoping they will offer richer apps in the future and the iOS will keep getting hungrier. Not to mention the better resale value should you intend to sell it off.

I went against my own words and purchased an iPad2 today. I received a settlement from a car accident I was in, in Februaru 2010. Soooooooo...

I had intended to purchase a small laptop to carry around with me as I am getting rather involved in my town (Youngstown) and area (Mahoning Valley).
However, I decided to purchase the iPad 2, an Apple bluetooth keyboard and dock stand. Got the iPad today, and waiting for the keyboard and dock stand to be delivered next week. I'm pretty excited!

My son's dad got my iPad.

Nice let us know how that goes for you when they come in...

Hey do you use vnc to control your computer remotely with your iPads?

I would really be interested on how smooth vnc is on the unit....I used to do this heavily on my old iphone3 but it just couldn't render the remote desktop fast enough for my liking with some larger more complex applications running on the computer.

I don't need one...but I am thinking if I can use it to remote control everything and it is smooth...it would make a nice full-screen touch remote.
