UI.X 2

UI.X 2 [Paid] 2025-03-05

No permission to buy ($59.50)
Unfortunately, I don't think we can make a guarantee for how long we will support something as a lot can change over time and there are additional unknowns with a third party software. For example, XenForo introducing XF2 and no longer supporting XF1 caused changes. It is part of the challenge we have had. We are supporting UI.X 2 though and intend to support it as long as it makes sense for us, which is why we are still selling our other themes.
Okay, that’s good news at least. I really love UI.X 2, it’s such a nice, clean, and all around good theme. I would hate to have to ditch it because the default XF theme leaves a lot to be desired.

Glad you like it! Have you had a chance to take a look at ACE for XenForo? Keeping it clean and simple yet feature rich was part of the goal. We'd be happy to have any feedback for it!

Yeah if it's any consolation we use uix on app of our clients sites and we are going to continue to support them and we will post updates here still!

I'm aware the font sizes themselves are easily changeable in the Style properties, but is it possible to make "Large" the default recommended size that users are automatically set to instead of "Medium"?

No, that is currently not a feature. You should adjust the font sizes in your theme to whatever you want the default to be as the default for all users.

Okay, thanks so much for the quick response. My concern is how am I supposed to know what all of the values are for these when the preference is set to "Large" in the user settings?

Hey, I just had a look at the website to buy a couple of things. I noticed ACE as free but the subscription keeps timing out to get an email discount code. However while looking at this, I saw a post from Saturday saying the things I am interested in will become free with limited support.

This comment in particular:
So we can take these steps, we are going to stop investing as much as we have been in the ThemeHouse brand that is responsible for developing and designing themes and add-ons for the XenForo marketplace

At this point I'm stuck. Do I pay for something that's going to be free? And when it does change, will it be updated for future versions (say XF2.5 or XF3) or am I best looking for an alternative?

Please create a ticket on our support portal so that we can troubleshoot what is going on exactly.

If you are referring to UI.X 2 and the rest of our XenForo 2 themes, they will continue to be supported (UI.X 2 and UI.X 2 Dark limited support) along with updates being released when one is needed. As far as the future is concerned (XF2.5 or XF3 for example), we aren't going to make any promises of support or updates as we don't know what is to be expected with such future versions as of yet since it is way too early to say right now.

Google's Lighthouse is not happy about some of the aria attributes and IDs on UIX 2. Maybe you guys can look into it. Thanks.

I'm not seeing the grid-gap (the space between the new posts and post thread buttons on forum lists view) when using the PWA app through Edge. It does work when using PWA through chrome. Andriod OS

Any idea what I would alter in what template to correct this behaviour please?
