You can disable hashtag by set maximum number of hashtag to 0 in usergroup permission.

Very sad that this isn't working and there's no way to disable hashtag. I'm sorry but I do not care to emulate Twitter.

It doesn't work means you could create new tags using censored texts? Please note that if the tag has been created before, and you just add it to a thread, the validation will not kick in.

Yes it doesn't work, it lets me create censored word as tags.
I just tried creating new thread, still the same issue.
Could you please test creating it on my site?
Some censored words are "hack, download"

Please add support for multiple content types. For example by adding tabs to the tags page.
I do not only want to see forum threads tagged with a word. I also want to see tagged content from gallery, blog, wiki, reviews, showcases, pages, resources.
Please make the tag page tabbed, similar to the find-new page.

Currently addon developers are creating their own tagging system, which gives us many separated tag systems. This is bad for SEO and usability. Please provide ways for addon developers to integrate with xentags.

Pages, Resources and Forum were supported, other 3rd party content types could be developed.

It's not a bug. There is an option for this. You can turn it on.

I have hashtagging disabled but I still use the thread tagging feature which is great inside an educational resources area. However, there are occasions when I would like to link to tag pages within posts. Is it possible, that whilst hashtagging is disabled I can still link to tag page with the [hashtag] bbcode? If the bbcode was allowed then it would be easy for me - since hashtagging is disabled, the bbcode would just make a link... it obviously wouldnt tag the current post / thread.
