Implemented Simplified logo upload setup

Why is it still so complicated to figure out where and how to upload the site logo. Every time i update my site I have to figure out how to put the logo back and favicon. I have use other software where its a simple upload logo and it remain the same.

Any reason why a simplified logo upload is not implemented?

You don't have to put back the logo and favicon when you upgrade.

The location of any customer made logo and favicon is defined in the style properties basic options, and so they stay the same after an upgrade.

The advice has always been to set a unique path to the logo image.

If you replace the XF logo in the default style then every time you upgrade, your file be overwritten.

As for the favicon, XF does not include a favicon so whatever's happening is nothing to do with the upgrade files.
