XF 2.1 Add "see more" to simplified active topics widget

I use the "simplified" version of the new posts widget at the top of my home page. I like the clean styling and the fact it is visually different from the forum listings that appear right below it. A nice simple look that give folks the info they need and nothing else. It's almost perfect. Why only almost? Because there's no "See more" at the bottom. They don't know how to find additional news posts. Yes, they can click on "What's New", but picture a little old lady gardener who has never used a forum before and only knows FB. We want to make this as easy as we can for them.

Here's a sample, with my kludge of adding a "what's new" link forum. But I'd really like to have it at the bottom of the widget.
