Well I don't think this is a bug necessarily, but I still get the error. Wonder what would be causing this... conflicting plugin?

I doubt it as its a stand alone system (unless another addon is extending showcase custom fields). SC Custom Fields have no association with core xf.

Has anyone tried changing the URL structure of the item page? For instance, on my site which focuses on vehicles, I'm thinking the better SEO plan would be to structure the URL so it reads '/username-year-make-model'. I'm also thinking about changing the page TITLE, META, and H1 tags on the item page to reflect this as well and put less emphasis on the item name the user comes up with. Could this be done with an htacess URL rewrite? Or what would be the best way to accomplish this?

Was hoping someone might be able to chime in on the difficulty of creating an importing project... I'm getting very close to being ready to import all of my vb 3.8 data into XF. I currently have 40 or so user profile fields in vb tailored to vehicle details for the member. Those fields will now become obsolete, as those fields will now be part of showcase items, not the user profile. I was originally going to (and still might) import all of those user profile fields over as user profile fields via Slavik's big board importer, and then ask the members to copy their profile fields into a showcase item manually. But I keep thinking of trying to automate this somehow... and if I'm going to do it, now is the time.

Seems to me it would entail auto-generating a showcase item for each user and importing their user profile fields into the showcase fields for the item. The downside to this would be having a bunch of showcase items with no photos. But I have an idea for that too - on our site we ask that our members use a photo of their car as their avatar, so maybe a cover image could be generated from their avatar.

What other issues should I consider? Any advice on how to achieve something like this? I'd be willing to pay someone to write some code, and I can do all the field mapping in the file and any of the non-coding part of the work. I'm sure a lot of members will jump in and create items, but man it would be nice to have a lot of the data in there already right when the site switches over.

You might want to ask the same question in the Development forum to alert Developers that watch that specific forum. I believe there are a couple developers working with some license holders on Garage importers that might be able to help you out as well (or at least give you some pointers for your particular scenario).

Is there a way to add a "review this product/item" button? Once the item was reviewed it would be cool if it turned to "reviewed". My members are having an issue figuring out were to click to rate items.

...or...

What is the URL that I would use to create my own button?

Also...a button for "discuss this item". Like in the XF resource manager?

Yeah. The mod images show all on the right and I didn't see an option in the features. Is this a native feature?

I don't think it is, not completely positive though.

The above is with css so either way it's doable.

As Sheldon mentioned, there is no "setting", however, it can be handled via custom CSS (I think someone even posted the CSS at the support site). I've held off doing much with sidebar stuff in hope that a core xf sidebar/widget manager will come into play soon.
