Although I would like to have an integration with XenGallery, this would not be very high on my priority list.

I can understand, that an integration with another third party addon is a very complex and a risky task. I would totally understand, if this would never happen. The time and effort might be better invested in more features etc. Especially if you are aware that this is a never ending story to support. As soon as the other addon has a change, you have to change your addon too.

An importer script on the other hand is a one time effort (more or less) and gets you more customers immediately.

But one day, all features we can think of are done and then the time starts to look closer in integrations with other addons etc.
 
Does anyone use Showcase for a sort of Team Directory?
Is it possible to geocode an address as a custom field and show this address on a map?

I've seen a few people that he used the single line text input for entering an address and then using the HTML output for that field to render a google MAP using the embbed API.

NOTE: The next version of Showcase has Google Maps API built in. All you'll need is a Google Maps API KEY in order to use it (there is built in integration and of course you can always do custom integration).

This would be great, any idea when the next version of Showcase might be out, except of "when it's done" :)

Hey Bob, or others, how well does Showcase play with XenPorta 2 and CTA FT (I do understand that there is direct integration with CTA). I ask because... For my new site, Showcase is my main attraction and I just want to make sure I get the portal that works best while not sacrificing too many features (XenPorta seems to do more). Again, my question is first and foremost Showcase integration.

Help! I lost my homepage for the showcase. However I can get to all of the content. ??

I had renamed it to be myforum.com/forum/garage ... and that brings up the message "The board is currently being upgraded. Please check back later."

However, myforum.com/forum/garage/member/member.101/ ... this works just fine.

Maybe the last update didn't work properly, I'll try again.

That message indicates that you've uploaded files for a newer version of the addon and have not yet run the XML for that new version. I sent you an inbox with more details and what I need in order to help you out.
