Schedule Content for XF 2.x [Paid] 3.0.0

No permission to buy ($30.00)
@truonglv

Is there any visual indication to the person scheduling a thread that the thread has not yet been posted when looking at it in a node? Just wondering, because I was trying it on your site and the threads I scheduled looked (to me) like they were posted immediately, so I couldn't be sure the addon was actually working. I would need to log onto your website with another account to check if I could see them or not...
Thread always posted but it's locked so other people cannot see it.

Thanks, I thought that was probably the case, but figured I'd ask anyway. The last addon I used for this gave the scheduled threads a faded out look which let you know right away they were scheduled, so I was just used to the visual cue.

@truonglv

P.S. As administrator, will I be able to easily identify other people's scheduled threads/posts so that I don't reply or react to them before they're actually posted...?

EDIT: Okay, after giving the details a look again, I guess that wouldn't be a problem as long as they remember to use the "invisible" option. Thanks again.

With thread scheduled you cannot give any action on it (react, move, report,...)

@truonglv - I've been experiencing a bug when I try to schedule an update of the thread title; it doesn't do it.

Also, a features suggestion would be scheduling in conversations, but obviously that could be a large bit of work.

@Dragonfruit can you give more details so i can test and confirm?

Yes so with a forum, users have the permission 'View threads by others' set to no. So they can only see their own threads. We have rules & info threads stickied, and by default without 'View threads by others', they can't see them either. Xon's "View Sticky Threads" add on fixes that.

When 021's Scheduled Posting is activated, all the sticky threads disappear, unless users are given the "View scheduled publications" permission on 021's Scheduled Posting add on.

How are you worried about it interacting? As far as I know, there's no reason why this would be a problem. I can try to double check it some time soon I suppose.

Hi @osieorb18
As mentioned on this post:

With 021's scheduled posting conflicts with Xon's "View Sticky Threads" addon, where in a node that is set so that users cannot view other people's threads, just their own. We still want all Stickied threads to show, because of specific node rules/info. When both are active, the stickied threads vanished.

So just need confirmation that @truonglv 's Scheduled add-on works just fine with Xon's View Sticky Threads addon: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/view-sticky-threads.5962/

Thanks!

Odd... @Dragonfruit @truonglv

In areas where "View threads by others" is disabled, it's not possible to schedule content, even with every other permission set to yes. I double-checked this both with and without Xon's "View Sticky Threads" Add-on.
