By default, the product doesn't allow users to paste their email address from the clipboard, to ensure users type the email manually and avoid typos. The feature is supported only in modern browsers with JavaScript, that have appropriate JavaScript API to prevent user from pasting text in a field. This feature can be disabled from admin panel:

It would be more effective to check if the email address actually exists through a email validation service.
Consider that email validation companies offer high affiliate commission. So the addon would pay for itself.

Thank you for the suggestion. The point of the add-on is simply adding the confirmation field with the ability to prevent copy-pasting. It is not anyhow an anti-spam solution, just prevents typos. If we decide to develop an anti-spam solution we will definitely consider your suggestion.
