This seems to happen most often for people who have facebook/instagram blocked at the router, but is there a way to display the link below the embedded material? Or perhaps setup a proxy server for certain media?

It works for me in Chrome and Firefox. Try disabling all of your browser extensions are try with a new profile. There could be an issue with a browser extension blocking the video.

Yes, you need to go to the admin panel, search for "autoEmbedMedia" and select "Auto-embed media, and add a link to the content within this BB code:" in the list of options.

I have tried on a different computer, and the amazon embeds still aren't working witch chrome, but they work with microsoft edge. https://www.utahfishkeepers.us/threads/favorite-computer-brand.1120/#post-7386

For me they work on Chrome and Firefox but not in Chromium. My best guess is that it's related to adblocking and/or privacy features. Notably, if your browser blocks HTTP referrers, you may get a blank page.

ESPN isn't working on mine as well because ESPN is http and my site is https and it wants to load a script.

There isn't anything that you can do about that as far as I can tell, that is an issue with how HTTP/S works.

Me too, nt working in my forum; im have https similar.

I searched the thread but found some conflicting reports, I excluded a couple sites because we don't care for the embed like Amazon and Gofundme, however now they just are a blank space in the post. They aren't showing anything. Any ideas?

Did you go back and edit the old entries out? Turning off the embed is for future posting but won’t revert old ones.

@JoshyPHP any sugestion or any found solution por ESPN bbcode for webs in https? im tested this in localhost and is good, the problem is in url https of my forum, fixed any code in bbcode? thank you.

@JoshyPHP have you played around with streamable much? Their embed codes don't seem to have a way to disable autoplay. I sent them an email because this is on them and not you, just curious if you had already done that and got a reply back.

@colcar I've updated Podbean to support those URLs.

@suineg They don't autoplay in my browser when they're embedded in an iframe. They do autoplay if I browse to the player's URL directly.
