Is this a new problem? Are there any errors in your browser's console?

Not sure but I'm still on 1.4.4

When I press the preview button I get: XenForo.activate(%o) [object Object] xenforo.js:220

Is that overlay used elsewhere in the forums so I can check with the addon disabled? Or can I just remove the X button?

Which template do I edit to remove the ellipses for the button in the quick reply editor? I've found the templates to remove the ellipses from all the other instances your "Preview" button appears, I just can't find this one.

Unfortunately it's hardcoded inside the template modification so it is not editable.

@Chris D seems upgrading from PHP 7.0.17 to 7.1.3 for me made this quick reply preview addon give off an error. Disabling this addon removed the error for me

There is no error on my forum.
php 7.1.3, this addon installed and many others.
Probably a style conflict or addons clashing?
Try disable all other addons and try on new default clean style

haven't looked at it further, just disabling this addon fixed it for me.

Yes it is. @eva2000 reported an issue but I haven't been able to reproduce that yet, so you should be fine.

The functionality is built into XF 2.0 by default so eventually the add-on won't be required.
