Browser issue page numbering invisible on Chrome 84.0.4147.30

I know it's a beta but just in case: 84.0.4147.30 hides page numbers on thread-view. Disabling the float let them reappear.

Thanks for the heads up, it's always good to get a head start on such things.

I just installed this beta on macOS and I wasn't able to reproduce it.

I can see you're running Windows so we'll try and run the beta on there later to see if the Windows version is specifically the issue.

I can reproduce it in Chrome Canary (which is 85), but it's so much worse than the bug report -- there are multiple things that just plain don't show up.

We'll need to get a reduced test case.

Hopefully this will be actioned before there's a stable release.

(I'll leave this bug open for now as we await a response from the Chromium team.)

thanks for checking! Edge Canary 85.0.535.0 has the same issue (same redering engine ofc)
