Feature request for when you have time.
It would be nice when the "fullscreen" modus would include the Post Reply and Preview buttons, so one can post a message or preview it without toggling back.

Especially preview won't work out with the way the Fullscreen works.

And are there phrases for the special character category names (and the descriptions for the special characters)? I couldn't find those.

No, the special characters content is parsed directly into the option value. No phrases.

I thought maybe you could place the preview fully above the fullscreen (so one need to scroll down to type in after the preview).

I'm not a friend of stacking overlays. If someone wanted to go back, they had to click all the way through the overlays. That's not really user friendly.

Not at the moment, no. I thought about rebuilding this section already, but couldn't convince myself yet, that spamming the database with an entry for each character is worth it.

I would like to use it for displaying some icons (BBcode) on the toolbar editor but it doesn't work.

If it doesn't have any other content after you deleted js/addons/kl/editor-manager you can delete it. There's no obligation here, you can keep the full folder and its content if you like. It's just no longer used.

Something went wrong with your installation there. The class extension should look for KL\EditorManager\XF\Str\Formatter, not KL\EditorManager\Str\Formatter

You have to configure the right toolbar. Toolbar contents vary depending on the size (width) of the editor.

It must be a complex task to add buttons to the editor, but not impossible.

Exactly. They are only added with the standard editor.
I had a custom button to embed some types of videos that the "s9e Media Sites" add-on does not recognize, and when you put the "[KL] Editor Manager", it has disappeared.

[KL] Editor Manager is an excellent editor, very configurable, I would say superb, exceptional. But it has that difficulty with the custom buttons.
