Editor & BB Code Manager

Editor & BB Code Manager 2.0.1 Patch Level 1

No permission to download
All it needs are compatibility patches. Those can either be done by the respective add-on author (which I obviously prefer), or, as long as the add-on is available free of charge, by me. Custom XenForo BB Code buttons work out of the box, you just need to add them to the toolbar.

Thanks, but I do not know how to do it, when I create a custom bbcode and assign it a button image, it does not appear in the toolbar of your excellent edtitor.

  1. Create a custom BB Code in the ACP -> Content -> Custom BB Codes
    1. Make sure to assign it an editor icon, FontAwesome or Image
    2. Save it, obviously
  2. Switch to Editor Toolbar Layout
  3. Drag your custom button from the topmost toolbar down to the list of toolbars where you want the Icon to appear

Dunno what you expect. It's working fine, just use the collapse class if you don't want equal width columns or apply custom css.

I've been getting a very intermittent issue, not sure if it is the KL editor or a xenforo or a browser thing.

last time it happned I was using a bbcode table. While composing the message, the text editor went sort of greyish and frozen. The preview would work fine though. If I refreshed the page all starts to be OK again.

Posting this here in case anyone recognises this as a KL editor bug.

@Mr Lucky that's at least nothing I have encountered or heard of yet, but I certainly wouldn't rule out the add-on as a cause. Next time this happens, try opening the browser console and check for errors there. That might give us a hint on what's going on. I assume it's some JavaScript timeout or crash.

Thanks, I follow exactly those steps. It is difficult for me to explain in English that my button with a custom image is not shown in the "Editor Toolbar Layout".

Maybe the problem is that I do not use FontAwesome, but a Custom Image, inside my XenForo files structure?

Hm, I'd need to test that. Try - for the purpose of testing - to switch to a FontAwesome Icon to see if your BB Code then shows up in the toolbar layout. If it does, try adding it to the toolbar and then changing the FA icon back to the image.

Yes thanks. The tips has been very useful. (y)

I tried to, but I could not.
I expect support for this issue.

It appears English isn't your first language. Based on your screenshots... Turkish?

Türkçe konuşamıyorum. Tercüman kullanıyorum. Hatalar için özür dilerim.

Bu seçenekleri dene.

Çalışmazlarsa, Editör Yöneticisi ile mümkün değildir.

AdminCP -> Görünüm -> Stil Özellikleri'ni deneyin.

That’s nice...... Perhaps you should try asking for support instead of expecting.
I would expect support only if I had paid for it. The support we get for this free add on is exemplary IMO

I may be an optimist but I think it's mostly a language barrier.
