XF 2.2 Adding keyboard shortcuts to rich text editor

Hello all. Is it possible to easily add shortcut keys to the buttons in the rich text editor? Obviously some have codes already (Bold, Italic, etc) however quite a few of the users on one of my boards would like to be able to toggle the BB Code editing mode from the keyboard directly and I was wondering how easy it might be to add a shortcut key? Thank you.

if nothing else, i do use a bit of markdown especially for quotes which is easier with markdown compared to the toolbar.

You may want to submit this as a suggestion instead of a question. I would like a shortcut for "insert quote".

Most applications use Cmd + K (Ctrl + K on PC) to insert a link. Pressing this in Xenforo's text editor creates an ordered list. What was the reasoning for choosing that shortcut?

Is there a list of keyboard shortcuts for the text editor somewhere? If there is already an insert link shortcut, I can get used to it, but I'd still recommend changing it to the standard.

Gmail has an excellent keyboard shortcut support. Some shortcuts are only available when a text field or editor is in focus and other are available in other contexts, some are always enabled some require a setting to be toggled on. To see a list of shortcuts in Gmail, press the "?" key when no text input field is in focus. There are many JavaScript libraries that allow adding support for keyboard shortcuts in web applications.

It would be cool to be able to:

• focus on a thread in the threads list and use UP/DOWN keys to move the focus, then hit enter to load the thread in focus...
