As of right now, if you have attachments on a post you are editing, just from one misclick, you can delete an attachment forever.
This is extremely inconvenient and a hassle for multiple reasons that are obvious.
There should be a prompt/box that requires a confirmation before being able to delete the attachment, just like the one in the Attachment browser in the Admin panel.
This feature in the Rich Text Editor attachment view would be incredibly helpful for both users and admins.
There could be an option in the the Rich Text Editor attachment options where users/admin can toggle the conformation box/pompt on or off if they wish.
I have searched for add-ons with such a feature but have found none so far.
