1. When creating a new thread, tick the option on the bottom of the page to promote to portal, or
2. Promote an existing thread to the Portal using Thread Tools dropdown.

There are neither the "promote to portal" option nor the "portalpage option" in the Thread Tools.

have you set the permissions?

Go to the Admin Control Panel and set the Permissions (Users -> User Group Permissions -> Extra Portal Permissions)

Tomorrow I start working on customizing extra portal to look exactly like my current home page (http://orojackson.com/). My current home page is just html & css, and we have weekly (sometimes daily) articles that need promotion and adding it manually is getting tiring + inefficient, looking forward to working with Extra Portal, also looking forward to the updates that's receiving so much hype!

Thank you as well for creating such an awesome add-on, it's really great for those of us who want a working, stable and supported portal solution

I have a couple of questions, sorry if they have been answered allready:

1) There is a gap between the top breadcrumb and the first post on the portal page, how do I remove it? Screenshot:


2) On my phone the attached image pushes the text down. Any way to fix this? It looks good in horizontal view, but not vertical view:


3) The widgets. I use [bd] Widgets, what should I put in the "Position" field to get the widgets to show up on the ExtraPortal page?

4) What template do I have to change to remove the "Comments:" and "Views:" text (I want to use fontawesome instead)?

How to make this Portal as Index Page route?
I tried to change my Index Page Route to "/portal", it works fine on login members but not for the guest.
Guest can't access Portal page anymore.
