I think I asked my question incorrectly. I want my Homepage to work as a showcase of the forum. In some add-ons, the content is added to the Homepage completely independent of the forum. I want the reader to be directed to the forum thread when a content or news is clicked on the Homepage and continue reading from forum. Does it work this way or does this add-on provide a completely independent Homepage.

Yes I do have plans to integrate with my add-on but its won’t be anytime soon as I don’t have there add-on yet

Can you explain the logic of the add-on a little more? I saw three sections on demo site: Slider, Trending content and Latest contents. Is there a hierarchy of these sections? In other words, if we are displaying a topic in the portal, does it automatically change between these three sections at a certain time interval? or do we choose which section to display when adding the thread to the portal?

Can we also add additional sections? Can we specify layouts such as two columns, 3 columns, single columns and add widgets to these specified sections?

If I want to add sections on the home page according to specific forums and prefixes, can I do it? For example, when displaying a thread in the X forum to the portal, display it in the predefined section, or when adding a thread with Y prefix to the portal, add it to a section that I have defined. I am trying to understand how flexible the add-on is.

You and your users can Feature and highlight own specific contents and optionally use them as a portal / home page and for the trending contents it's fully integrated with XF2.3+ Trending contents.

also I always tried to include bonus features to my several add-ons as much as possible

I am sorry for not understanding what's are you asking. Can you please explain

Yes it does exempt for the Slider as you will be able to choose which section to display resources, media and thread to the Slider!

For the latest contents its will only display any new contents that's has been recently posted

For the trending contents its will only display contents that's is currently trending

Can we also add additional sections?

It's not possible to add more sections at this time.

I am so sorry as I don't understand what's you are asking

You will be able to Select nodes, resources and media to be included from latest content and trending contents sections

This will be added in the future versions once someone sponsorship the update
