If it is a newly installed XF site, check Options > Attachments > Maximum Attachment Image Dimensions - to ensure you have set some dimensions for attachment sizes.

One suggestion...

I looked at your code and when there's a photobucket url you use photobucket as the referrer. This will only fix photobucket, but there are many times which block hotlinking of images. Could you update it to use the base URL of the image url as the referrer in all cases?

Had to turn it off. It's fetching images from my own site linked in posts like those people have in our XF media gallery which they posted in with img tags.

tried to install this add-on and ended op with this error in the admin-panel:
Callback Andy_ConvertImage_Listener::loadClassDatawriter is invalid (Invalid Class).
Any clue?

Interesting bug

It has htaccess rules so the convert doesn't work and then when someone accesses the thread it asks for login info. Maybe this is a general XF problem?

Great Add-On AndyB!
As far as I can say, "Convert Image" is working perfectly for me in threads.

But what is with conversations?
If somebody wants to track you in Xenforo, he just has to send you an ""invisible logger" (see iplogger.com) image in a conversation.

@AndyB: It would be great, to extend ConvertImage to work with conversations as well.

Is there any solution to exclude the own page, please?
I have a lot of pictures hotlinked from the own server and i dont like them to be attached, because i want to change them from time to time just by uploading to the server again.
