Convert Image 5.6

Hey Andy, after upgrading from XF 1.5.14 to to 1.5.23 and also changing our PHP version from 5.6 to 7.2 I'm getting some errors in the admin panel for Convert Image. Here is the error:

Image Magick doesn't work well with PHP 7.2 last time I tried. I had to rollback to 7.1.x.

Error: Class 'Imagick' not found

are you sure 'Imagick' is working correctly with 7.2? I know a year or so back it was not compatible yet.

Fixed issue... had to reinstall the ImageMagick PECL through WHM and restart Apache. All seems to be working fine now after upgrading XF to 1.5.23 and PHP from 5.6 to 7.2. Seems the PHP upgrade caused ImageMagick to take a crap.

I had to do the same, thanks for the heads up on how to fix it

Last updated in 2018. Just want to make sure it works. Last reply was from 2021.

Also, I own a large forum, would it be possible to go through posts that have already been created and save the images as attachments?

Yea I ended up finding it on his own site. XenForo's search was failing me xD
