I'm having an issue where anytime someone sends a message in private or in a chatroom it gets sent to the default chat instead. i can't figure it out...

I've tried everything and still am struggling to figure this out. there's no errors. there doesn't seem to be a addon conflict. it's not cloudflare.v it also occurs in full page mode for individual rooms.

this issue also manifests by not updating the chat when a message is submitted, but will appearupon refresh

This has been fixed in latest version but you need to set a user ID in the AI command.

I just want to make sure that the latest versions require XF 2.3 and can't be used with 2.2?

You can't see only your message? Are you using custom color in your chat settings?
To change the color globally, you can use style properties "Message text" option.

No errors. In the logs it does seem to either fail to send (no error) or it sends to the mainchatroom but not visible except on refresh.

Ive disabled cloudare and caching and cleared cookies and disabled many add-ons. Did a complete uninstall and reinstall of this addon. I want to use it so badly and not sure what the hurdle is. Any advice on what to check or what else would cause this would be appreciated.

A random not.. Around the same time we did change domains. I'm not sure but could be related?

Which version is best to upgrade to XF 2.3? Is the 2.3.5 that I have now the right one? Do I have to upgrade to 2.4.1 and then upgrade to XF 2.3?

Hmm, just updated to the newest version so I can use it with XF 2.3, but my chatters list fails to appear in the right-hand side as it normally does. It does, however, show up when I click on the Popup version - but it is the only version where it is visible. Please advise as to what could be the possible culprit and how I can fix it, so my users are not forced to use the Popup version?


When opened in the assigned page, I'm missing the chatters list on the right-hand side ^
