Two more questions for now, please?
1. Chat style properties > Chat content height
2. Look for fa-commend-edit in siropu_chat_room_message_row template
3. Click on "Edited" link inside the message.
4. Chat admin options > Comply with user privacy settings

Is it possible to automatically notify a member if a sanction has been put on their account?
Banned users get an alert about it. This only applies to all chat ban, not room ban. For room ban, users can see that in the room list.

Thank you for the quick reply!
What about a kick and a mute though? Should that be visible in some way for the member? Either via notification, automatic private message or when browsing the rooms?

Because staff tested it with one of our general test accounts and when we muted it nothing popped up for that account.

You're truly awesome, thank you Siropu, I'll try it on Monday, but I just wanted to thank you for your continuous efforts 😍. I didn't even know bot messages could be edited.
What I was referring to was being able to edit new threads notifications, as I could with Luke's addon. To my knowledge, you still cannot do this with this addon, bot or no bot.

Hello, the chat seems to be great addon but without some adjustments seem may be difficult to use on mobile. Too much space is taken up by editor, Xenforo footer and wide breadcrumb right above footer which says < chat in image. Is there a single code which can be placed in extra.css to remove footer, reduce or remove breadcrumb and possibly give choice for minimal editor.

I'm using an adjusted default theme.

Thanks much

There is a "full page" mode which only displays the chat without XF header and footer. In the right side of the chat's header, there is a menu with a "Open in popup" link.

The editor height is 20px+ bigger due to a XF issue in 2.1.2

As for mute, it is better if the user doesn't know. :)
I politely disagree with this statement. A member should always know that they have been sanctioned and why.

You wouldn't punish/sanction a child or a employee without explaining what it did wrong. Or worse, punishing it without realizing that it's being punished. That's not fair. That's expecting change in their behaviour without them knowing they did something wrong in the first place.
To me, the same goes for muting, kicking or banning members. Members also usually claim they don't know what they did wrong, and sometimes they honestly don't get it until we explain it to them.

If you're not planning to install a way to notify members when we actually sanction them (like you can send an automated PM when you warn members) that's fine, we'll keep PM'ing them when we sanction members. I wanted to double check if we overlooked this feature and if not, to propose it as a future update.

The function of mute in my opinion is to annoy an annoying user. If the user is chatting at that time and you have "Room notifications" enabled for mute, the user can see the notification and in the sanctions list can see the sanction as well.

It is not a big deal adding alerts so we'll see.

Is it possible to kick all "joined" users out of a chat room such that they need to Join again? Basically, I am trying to replicate the scenario when all the users manually leave all the room.

There's a lot of great questions here. Thank you for attending to them all, Siropu! You're the best! <3

Of course, this comes with its own question as well, sadly.

If a user is able to view the whispers of all users, is there a way to differentiate the whispers directed towards themselves from the whispers directed at others? Maybe make them both different colors? Previously, whispers directed towards us were white (Or default-colors.) and the whispers towards others were gray. It's pretty awkward to respond to someone else's whisper if they aren't paying attention, especially if push notifications are turned on. I always end up jumping at those. :-P Thank you.

Thank you! Very much appreciated.

Out of curiosity, if users are claiming that their custom chat colors aren't saving, is there anything they can do about that on their end when it's saving just fine for other people?

EDIT2: Apparently the solution is to just wait a minute for the setting to change. Alright, cool!

---------------

EDIT: Better yet, if I just did some testing and realize I don't actually want a custom color myself, is there a way to reset mine to the default color without any particular color? I don't see an option where there used to be one.

I believe there's a large bug with the /roll command. Trying to change any of its settings to be able to roll anything higher than 1d6 is completely ineffectual. Even changing the default won't stop it from rolling 1d6's or lower and nothing else.

EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like you already fixed this. Sorry.

That's very kind of you!

Have you ever encountered this bug where raw BBCode mode is enabled and we can't submit anything in chat? Hitting enter just makes a new line, (This is even with "Multi-line sentences enabled" off. ... Or on! It doesn't make a difference.) and clicking the "Submit" button doesn't do anything.

Got a little screenshot.

That's very exciting! Thank you so much for the update! <3 Please let me know how we can send a (partially metaphorical?) basket of flowers in your general direction for all of your hard work and efforts. It's truly monumental.

In fact, I am so excited that I think I can ask another question!

I have chat's location set to "Beneath the Breadcrumb," whatever a breadcrumb is. It's a wonderful location because it's right at the top of every page so we can always see what's going on just by scrolling up, but the problem is, chat's text input box keeps stealing the cursor from wherever we are. Just when I think I can finally type, someone says something and whatever I'm typing into the forum ends up in the chat box because it stole the focus.
Is that my fault? It's happening across multiple computers that I use, both on Windows 10 or Windows 7, all on Firefox and Chrome. Is there something I can toggle to fix that, please?

So I was trying out Sidebar Top mode with my users and most of us were encountering the same issue. When in Sidebar mode, typing into the chat interface you seem to lose focus randomly which results in keypresses doing stuff in the browser instead of typing text.
