No I just use the default.

So what happens is that I post in the darker version of the theme. The text color box says it is the color for the dark theme but then I when I hit submit it posts it in the lighter theme color.

The other thing that happens is if I do select a color, it will post it once and then it defaults for the next post without me doing anything.

The default text color of the editor input is not the same color of the chat text color, unless you use a custom color when you post. The chat default text color can be set from the Chat style properties.

If you select the color from the editor, it is expected. If you want to have the same color every time, you have to set it in your settings.

Shall I worry? lol it's been like 10 minutes that dots keep stacking up. Attempting an update to the xf2.1 version as I just upgraded my xenforo from 2.0x to 2.1 (I previously disabled Siropu Chat before attempting the upgrade, so I don't know why this is happening).

Upgrade is handled by XF so unless there is a server performance issue, I don't know why it would take that long.

OMG, if you implement that, Chat 2 would be more perfect than it is already!
I am sure there are more people who aren't already aware that they will use it!
It is perfect to have a clear tidy news room, and a other room where they can discuss.

Is there an option where I can post in one room, and its get posted in the other room to?
As an example I have a general room and a news room, I post a piece of news in news room, and it gets automatically posted/copied to the generel room?

If not is it big effort to implement that?

I could add an option that allows you to post a message in selected rooms. You could also use bot messages to post scheduled messages in multiple rooms.

This seem to happen when a user that has active chat conversations gets deleted. I will make some changes in the next release.

Getting strange behavior where both the Chat tab and the Open in Popup option all display a blank page, though besides that, the Chat widget works just fine.

EDIT: JUST fixed this after posting this. lol Turns out you need to enable the widget in the widget settings to display in the Chat page.

I can't see any way of uploading an image. I'm an admin with full access on everything.
I have enabled all chat bbcodes. I can only insert an image link. Canno upload

You have to add the chat upload editor icon to the editor toolbar in ACP > Content > BB code button manager
