Got yea got yea, I kept the chat addon enabled and have advised users to disable the bottom chat bar which prevents the pop up from appearing.

How to reproduce? I have done multiple tests in different situations and don't see it.

I am not seeing it here, either. Maybe the person had some kind of issue with how they have the cache on their site set up?

same issue on my forum with many users, after upgrading last week.
Installed 2.3.3 today, hope this wil fix it....

no result after upgrading to 2.3.3, issues is still present, disabling the chat function for now.... :-(

@Siropu All I do is enable chat and then browse my forums and I get the notice. I just tried again and it happened within a couple of minutes.

This is very strange an cannot reproduce it anymore. Does it still happens when no rooms are joined or it doesn't mater?

@Siropu I am only able to duplicate this bug when I am not logged into any chat rooms, if I am logged into a room but browsing the forums the notice does not pop up.

FYI: It seems that users with moderator status, don't have this issue at all, users do, and so do i (admin status).

True. Our mods never saw it. One user reported it again today, with the *.3.3 version. No one else has had it again. I will re download it, as advised.
I also just cleared out all litespeed caches, if that could be part of the problem/solution.

I've tried it with both normal and admin users and no issues. I will either add it as an option or remove it in the next release.

I still have multiple people getting this message, both on desktop and mobile. Never has our staff had it, as we have permission to all 3 rooms. (the third is a private staff only chat room, which I suspect may be the trigger?)

The message changed slightly and says "CHAT room", since the upgrade.
